ALBUM ON SALE IN UK & EUROPE
Seeker Lover Keeper’s debut self-titled album is now available digitally in the UK & Europe. The physical album will be available next week.
Hi everyone, and welcome to a ticket status update. Our shows in Newcastle, Canberra and Perth have now sold out. Our first Sydney and Melbourne shows have sold out too, but luckily we have squeezed in an extra show in both of those cities. The thing is, we just can’t add any more shows, so the moral of this story is: if you would like tickets, be quick! In other news, we’re very happy to’ve been nominated for an ARIA Award for Best Adult Alternative album, alongside Grinderman, The Panics, Boy & Bear and Little Red. We are indeed adults and, in some ways, we consider ourselves slightly alternative. See you all at a show soon.
After much planning, and with great excitement, we are very happy to announce that we’re doing one last big tour before Seeker Lover Keeper goes into hibernation. The tour is called Heavenly Sounds, and that’s because all the shows are in beautiful churches or cathedrals. We thought that this time, instead of playing regular venues, we would do something special. We’re visiting most capital cities throughout the end of November, and will be bringing our band – David Symes returning on bass, and Bree van Reyk on the drums. This will be our last tour together for who-knows-how-long, since us girls are all fixing to be starting our new solo records, so you best get your tickets! All shows go on sale next Tuesday, September 27. Dates and information are on the TOUR page. We hope to see you soon.
The end of the road
After four weeks and 19 shows around the countryside, our tour is now officially over. Thank you to everyone who came along, we had an absolutely excellent time. If you missed out on tickets, tune in to triple j tonight. They’re playing a Live At The Wireless recording of one of our shows from a couple of weeks ago. It’ll be almost like being there, but with your eyes closed, so please creatively visualise our matching outfits, interpretive dance moves, and giant hand-sewn SLK backdrop (thanks Seja!). May you all fare well & avoid the winter chills. Love from SLK x
The open road
Our big Seeker Lover Keeper tour of Australia starts this week in Bulli. We are really looking forward to playing our songs to you live. And we’re honoured to have Jim White joining us on the drums & David Symes on the bass. There are some tickets left for our shows in Perth and Bellingen, but all other shows have now sold out. If you live in Sydney and missed out on tickets, triple j are running a competition where, if you win, you get to come to a special, small, secret show! You can enter here. Good luck & see you all soon.
